Move Towards Automation

Automation can significantly reduce energy and pollution from various industrial sources. By compensating for material and energy losses associated with manual systems, automated systems enhance efficiency.

Real-time monitoring and analysis of data enable facility resource management, leading to reduced utilization and increased productivity while minimizing resource wastage. Emerging technologies, particularly those capable of cutting emissions and enhancing resource utilization efficiency, contribute to this. However, without suitable environmental objectives and management systems, automation can have adverse effects, particularly on energy consumption, resource usage, and ecosystems.

While total automation may incur high costs and pose challenges for most industries, especially during the initial stages, semi-automation and specific process-oriented automation can effectively reduce resource consumption while boosting productivity. For instance, robotics technology has experienced rapid growth, facilitating its widespread adoption in developing countries. It is anticipated that the widespread use of industrial robots will transform the economic structure and enhance production efficiency. Automation empowers industries to mitigate their environmental impact while simultaneously improving working conditions.
