Implement Proper Storing Practices for Chemicals

Proper care must be taken when storing chemicals in the industry to avoid hazardous situations and reduce chemical waste production.

Here are some proper practices:

  1. Classify and store incompatible chemical substances separately.
  2. Maintain precise environmental conditions for storage, including temperature and humidity.
  3. Label containers accurately and replace damaged labels.
  4. Store unused or remaining chemicals in a different container from the original one to prevent contamination.
  5. Regularly inspect the stored chemicals for any signs of deterioration, such as direct sunlight, water leaks, mechanical or electrical shocks, etc.

Following these practices can prevent the deterioration of stored chemicals and unwanted waste created during disposal. Additionally, proper storage helps reduce the risk of accidents.
