Reuse Scrubber Water in Fruits and Vegetable Processing Industry

In the vegetable and fruit processing industries, incoming fruits and vegetables undergo scrubbing and cleaning, resulting in substantial water waste. Instead of discarding this water, utilizing a filtration system allows for its reuse in the same process. This approach not only helps industries significantly reduce their water bills but also contributes to water conservation, benefiting the environment.

For instance, in a potato processing industry, implementing a filtration system and reusing the water used in scrubbing led to a remarkable reduction of 8,250,000 gallons of water per scrubber.
